Bennett is a Portfolio Manager at Peak Asset Management LLC.
Prior to joining Peak Asset Management in 1999, Mr. Bennett was the President of Bennett Investments, Inc., an investment advisory service which provided portfolio management to individual clients in partnership with Money Strategies, Inc., a Boulder-based investment firm.
In 1980, he founded Bennett Developments, a sole proprietorship which developed and managed commercial real estate in Colorado until 1996.
He serves as Chairman of his family office in Minneapolis, Chairman of Cascade Mining, LLC and owns interests in several century-old iron ore leasing partnerships on the Mesabi Iron Range in the upper Midwest.
Mr. Bennett received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Colorado.
