Founded in 2000 by Greg Glidden, Tom Pellett, Dick Williams, Tom Dezort, Gary Hurlbut and Lou Jarodsky, Missouri Valley Partners, Inc. is a registered investment advisor located in St. Louis, Missouri. The firm is a subsidiary of Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF), a full-service regional brokerage and investment banking firm that was founded in 1890. In 1915 Charles Edward Merrill founded Merrill Lynch & Co. (NYSE: MER) with Edmund C. Lynch in Baltimore, Maryland. The modern Merrill Lynch was formed in 1940 through mergers with E.A. Pierce & Cassatt and, soon after, Fenner & Beane.
