Kirk Holmes

Kirk Holmes is a thought leader and industry pioneer with 40 years of experience in the delivery of technology services and organizational transformation using technology.
He is an experienced board member with focus areas including Cybersecurity, digital transformation, competitive advantage, and business growth.
He is the long-time CEO of Holmes and Associates, Inc., a C-level advisory consultancy, and a Fractional Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for multiple organizations that have ranged from Fortune 500 defense contractors to large nonprofit organizations.
Kirk combines his technology acumen with strategic business insight to help build new business, drive digital transformation, strengthen Cybersecurity posture, and improve organizational capability.
He is a business leader, technologist, superior communicator, executive coach, and relationship-builder.
Kirk’s business career prior to founding Holmes and Associates included a pioneering role in the advent of broadband Internet industry in the USA as the very first General Manager for Internet in the history of Comcast Corporation.
He also led over $50 Million in government contracting programs at SRA International and held leadership roles at IBM Federal Systems.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Access Government Services, an influential advisor to government contractors and government agencies on procurement and acquisitions strategy and modernization.
Over the years, he has also served on numerous other industry and non-profit boards and associations, including representing the USA on international committees.
Kirk holds an electrical engineering degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
He is married with two adult children and is an avid recreational athlete having completed over a dozen marathons and ultramarathons.
