Kerry J. Stirton

Mr. Kerry J.
Stirton is Partner & Head of Research at Tetrem Capital Management Ltd.
In his investment research role, he works most closely with Tetrem’s Investment Analysts, across all major sectors, in the development of investment ideas and the monitoring of portfolio holdings.
He works directly with the members of Tetrem’s Portfolio Management team, ensuring that the research function is tightly integrated into Tetrem’s investment process.
He joined Tetrem in December 2015 from CIBC Asset Management, where he was Managing Director of the Institutional Advisory Group.
With over 20 years career, focused primarily on equity research and equity fund strategies, his experience includes roles as a Senior Multi-industry Analyst at Sanford C.
Bernstein and public market investing with Goldman Sachs’ Proprietary Investment Group.
Prior to these positions, he was a Manager at McKinsey & Company and Director of US Equities at TD-Canada Trust.
Mr. Stirton received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba, a Masters’ degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto and Law degrees from Harvard Law School, University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, and Osgoode Hall Law School.
