Katja Heinisch

Dr. Katja Heinisch is a Head of Research at Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung Halle.
She joined the Department of Macroeconomics in September 2009.
Her research focuses on short-term forecasting and macro econometric modeling.
She gained international research experience while working at the European Central Bank (ECB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Katja Heinisch earned a diploma from the Chemnitz University of Technology and the University of Strasbourg.
She received her Ph.D.
from Osnabrück University.
