Karl D. Buettner

Prior to establishing Gatehouse Ventures in 2007, Mr. Buettner was a Managing Director of CD Ventures, Berwyn, PA a private investment firm, where he was responsible for raising nearly $200 million in capital for its various portfolio companies.
Prior to this experience, he was a Managing Director of John W.
Loofbourrow Associates, Inc., New York, a boutique investment banking firm, where his focus was on private placement of debt and securitizations in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Before joining Loofbourrow, he was a principal and Managing Director of American HealthFund, Inc., Berwyn, PA, an asset-based lender.
Mr. Buettner began his career in the mortgage banking industry and served in various roles culminating as principal and Executive Vice President of Capitol Mortgage, Blue Bell, PA.
Mr. Buettner serves on the Board of Directors for Bacton Investment Partners, Connective Holdings, LLC, D'Ambrosio Bakery, LLC, and Resource Associates Corporation.
Mr. Buettner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University.
