Mr. John R.
Humphrey is a Head of Credit Research at Gurtin Fixed Income Management LLC.
He serves as a member of the Investment Committee and is a senior credit analyst.
In addition, he is primarily responsible for leading the overall credit surveillance effort, credit research training, internal credit studies, and all credit-related data and technology.
He is also responsible for oversight of the credit research team.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Humphrey spent seven years at Moody's Investors Service, where his portfolio of municipal credits included general obligation, essential service, and special tax-backed securities.
He was lead analyst on several high profile issuers.
During his tenure at Moody's, he was a member of the national rating committee for local governments, and wrote various methodology and special comment publications.
He received his Master’s degree in Public Administration from Cornell University, and his Bachelors' degrees in History, Mathematics and Computer Science from Purdue University.
