George Xu

Mr. George Xu is a Vice President of Sequoia Capital China.
Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 2007, He served as an Investment Director at Walden International, focusing on TMT, healthcare, consumer, and clean tech related growth stage investments in China.
At Walden International, he led investments in 3SBio (NASDAQ: SSRX), the leading Chinese biotech company, and Photop Technologies - an integrated designer and supplier of components and sub-systems of photonics and display.
Previously, he served as the CFO of Norstar Media (the holding company of it168.com and che168.com).
He has a B.A.
from University of Science & Technology of Beijing and an M.B.A.
from the Graduate School of Business at University of Chicago.
