Mr. Francesco De Astis is a Head of Italian Equity at Eurizon Capital SGR SpA.
In 2001 he joined Sanpaolo Asset Management (today Eurizon Capital SGR) as Head of Italian Equities.
After short experiences as an auditor, in 1989 he worked as a financial analyst in the Finance Department of a banking institution, carrying out valuation activities for Italian shares.
In 1992 he moved to managed savings as Equity Portfolio Manager, to then acquire the position of Head of Equity for the mutual fund sector in 1999.
He graduated in 1988 in Economics and Commerce and obtained the qualification to practice as a chartered accountant at the University of Naples.
In the same year he obtained a Master in financial analysis at the management school of LUISS in Rome.
