David Cowan

David Cowan joined Hanover in April 2023 as Partner.
He has spent over 15 years in the private equity industry, the last 6 of which were at Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, an established US mid-market investor, where he played a key role in building out their European business.
Over the years David has gained a broad experience of originating and executing private market investments as well as serving on multiple boards across the UK, Benelux and Nordic markets.
Prior to operating within the private equity industry David was a M&A investment banker with Rothschild and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
David holds a degree in Finance from Newcastle University
