Mr. Carrillo manages the Latin American research efforts of the firm, and assists in the development of econometric models for study preparation.
Mr. Carrillo spearheads efforts to facilitate client understanding of economic models used at LJE, and their findings.
Mr. Carrillo has an extensive network of contacts in the Mexican financial community which he developed during his residence there.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Carrillo was a research assistant at A.B.
Laffer, V.A.
Canto & Associates, Prudential Securities and the Mexican Stock Exchange.
He is a graduate of the University of California San Diego, where he majored in economics with a minor in mathematics.
He has also studied at the University of San Diego and the London School of Economics.
