The power plant houses a natural gas re-circulating generator with a capacity of about 500,000 watts, a solar photoelectric power generation system with a capacity of about 309kwp, and a million-watt grid-connected energy storage system.

Sun BA Power operates the Fengde Power Plant, which is a natural gas-fired combined cycle power plant located in the Shanshang District of Tainan City. The plant provides high-efficiency, low-pollution, stable power supply, and flexible operation, making it an important power supplier for the nearby Southern Taiwan Science Park. Sun BA Power is ultimately controlled by the Government of Taiwan. The Taiwanese company is committed to providing high-quality, stable, and clean electricity while actively addressing management, environmental, and social issues. The private company was founded in 2000.
