Carla Shannon

Carl Shannon is responsible for Tishman Speyer’s portfolio in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Pacific Northwest.
He is responsible for all aspects of the business while driving new initiatives such developing office product for tech and life science markets.
He has developed many signature properties and is currently overseeing Mission Rock, partnering with the San Francisco Giants to create a new neighborhood on the waterfront.
Residential projects have included both market and affordable homes, with the most recent project Mira, overlooking the Bay Bridge.
Carl also oversees Tishman Speyer Communities, the firm’s affordable housing platform across the U.S.
He is a member of the Investment Committee.
Before joining Tishman Speyer in 1998, he worked for both GE Capital and The Prudential Insurance Company of America.
Carl received an AB, magna cum laude, and graduated with an MBA, with high honors, from Harvard University.
