Caesar M.
John Mwangi is currently the Chief Executive Officer at ICEA LION Insurance Holdings Ltd.
He also holds the position of Vice Chairman-Council at Strathmore University and Chairman at Strathmore Education Registered Trust.
Additionally, he serves as the Chairman of Kianda School and Director at ICEA LION Life Assurance Co. Ltd., United Nations Environment Programme, ICEA LION General Insurance Co. Ltd., ICEA Lion Trust Co., and Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya.
In the past, Dr. Mwangi worked as the Managing Director & Executive Director at Sasini Plc from 2009 to 2013.
He also held positions such as Regional Director at Global Village Energy Partnership, Associate Director at Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research, Finance Director at Independent Mediation Service of South Africa, and Non-Executive Director at Stanlib Fahari I-REIT.
Dr. Mwangi completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nairobi.
He further pursued a doctorate degree at the University of Johannesburg and obtained an MBA from Wits Business School.
