Guangdong Finance Trust Co., Ltd. (GFTC) is the financial management subsidiary of the Province of Guangdong’s Guangdong Finance Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. in China. Formerly known as Guangdong Finance Trust and Investment Company, the firm was established in 1984 as Guangdong Finance Development Corporation. They changed their name to Guangdong Finance Trust and Investment Company in 1990 and became Guangdong Finance Trust Co., Ltd. in 2007. GFTC is based in Guangzhou and provides a range of services including capital trust, chattel trust, real estate trust, negotiable securities trust, property or property right trust, initiation of investment funds or fund management companies; asset restructuring, M&A, project financing, corporate wealth management, financial consulting, securities underwriting, brokerage and credit investigation as permitted by laws and regulations or approved by the China Banking Regulatory Commission. They are a socially responsible investor which works with stakeholders to promote energy conservation, environmental protection and agricultural development in Guangdong Province.
