Formerly known as RBC Investment Management (Asia) Ltd., the firm changed their name to RBC Global Asset Management (Asia) Ltd. in 2019. Founded in 1969, RBC Asia provides services such as advisory services and the management of mutual funds and discretionary portfolios to high-net worth individuals, institutional and niche corporate clients.

Marshall Wace GaveKal Asia Ltd. (MW GaveKal) is the alternative investment management subsidiary of Marshall Wace Asia Ltd., ultimately held by Marshall Wace Partners Ltd. in Hong Kong. Created in 2008 as a joint venture between UK hedge fund manager Marshall Wace and research and fund firm GaveKal Holdings to manage GaveKal's existing funds and Marshall's planned Asia-focused vehicles, the firm manages long-only Asian multi-asset class funds for institutional investors and high-net worth individuals.
