Tim S. Medland

Mr. Tim S.
Medland is a Co-Head of European Basic Resources Investments at GLG Partners LP.
He has spent over 30 years in the financial markets.
He joined GLG Partners in 2004 as a Generalist for the European strategies team.
Prior to GLG, he managed a European long/short fund for Compass Capital from 1999 to 2003.
Before Compass, he was a Board Member of Creditanstalt Investment Bank, a boutique investment bank specializing in Russia and Central Eastern Europe from 1995 to 1999.
From 1992 to 1994, he ran the European Equity Sales and Trading Department for Swiss Bank Corporation.
From 1989 to 1992, he was the Head of UK Equity Trading at Goldman Sachs.
He started his career at Kleinwort Benson where he spent 9 years, trading precious metals and latterly becoming the Co-Head of Gold Trading.
