Thomas R. Schmutz

Thomas R.
Schmutz is an Operating Advisor to Liberty Hall and has over 35 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
Mr. Schmutz most recently served as President and CEO of FLYHT Aerospace Solutions, a leading provider of Satcom based products and services designed to reduce costs and improve efficiencies in the airline industry.
His prior leadership roles include Vice President, Engineering at L3 Communications and Vice President of Engineering at AirNet Communications.
Mr. Schmutz formerly served in the United States Army and earned his B.S.
in Electrical Engineering from the United States Military Academy, an M.S.
in Digital Signal Processing and Communication Theory from Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A from the University of South Florida, Muma College of Business.
