Prior to the integration of U.S.
Trust and Bank of America in February 2008, Mr. Benesch had joined U.S.
Trust in 2003 and immediately began making a significant impact in his coverage of key sectors.
Mr. Benesch brings expert analysis skills and tremendous passion to his leadership of Equity Research.
Prior to U.S.
Trust, Mr. Benesch worked for Templeton Global Advisors in the Bahamas.
He had co-portfolio management responsibility for the Templeton Global Long Short Fund as well as developing global media and US country research coverage for Templeton's long funds.
Prior to Templeton, Mr. Benesch spent four years as a research analyst covering Asian conglomerate and media companies for DLJ and Bear Stearns in Hong Kong, and was a senior financial analyst in AIG's treasury department in New York.
Mr. Benesch has many years of investment experience and a Masters in International Management degree from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management, and a B.S.
in Finance from Arizona State University.
