Mr. Arora has extensive experience in the medical device and healthcare industry.
Prior to joining Cargill Ventures, he spent eight years as an equity analyst covering the medical technology industry, most recently as a senior equity research analyst for UBS Warburg, and prior to that a senior equity analyst for RBC Capital Markets.
He was recognized as an industry expert in the cardiovascular, orthopedic, neuro and blood processing markets and was ranked first in Institutional Investors "Best of the Boutiques" poll in both 1998 and 1999.
His research coverage spanned the range of large-cap, small-cap and private companies.
He began his career in the medical device industry and spent ten years in a variety of roles ranging from product design engineering and product planning for Guidant Corporation; business development for St. Jude Medical; and corporate development/product management for Boston Scientific Corporation.
Mr. Arora serves on the Board of Directors of NimbleGen and Sirtris Pharmaceuticals and oversees Cargill Ventures' investments in Endomatrix & NutriJoy.
Mr. Arora holds a B.S.
in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, a M.S in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and an M.B.A from Duke University.
