The American College of Radiology is a national organization serving radiologists, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, and medical physicists with programs focusing on the practice of radiology and the delivery of comprehensive health care services. ACR devotes its programs to make imaging safe, effective, and accessible. The college publishes the journal of the American College of Radiology and the ACR bulletin. It also provides the national accreditation program for mammography. ACR also hosts the ACR career center for radiologists. The College was founded in 1923 and its office is located in Reston, VA.
