One of the very early believers in India's start up growth story, PG Ponnapa has been active as a Deep Mentor and angel investor for over a decade.
An alum of IIM Calcutta, he learnt his corporate ropes at Asian Paints where he launched two iconic brands Royale and Apex.
After 15 years in Consumer Marketing he moved into technology and had his first CEO role at n-Logue Communications which was incubated out of IIT Madras and set up single PC cyber cafes in 2000 villages in 7 states in the pre- Mobile phone era.
He also ran America OnLine's (AOL) India business as Managing Director and was the CEO for mPortal's APAC business before quitting the corporate world in 2012.
As a marquee angel investor, his portfolio includes Perfios, Upwardly, One Eight Technologies , Tarnea, RoaDo, Skoolbeep, Edisn, Intentico and Byneri.
