Phil Giesler

Prior to joining UTV in 2005, Mr. Giesler led Unilever’s Global Technology Center for Household Care in Milan, responsible for global research & development for all elements of Unilever’s $1.5 billion Household Care business.
Mr. Giesler has had a long history at Unilever, covering Unilever’s Home & Personal Care business.
He gained extensive expertise in Supply Chain roles at Elida Gibbs, Unilever’s UK Personal Products company, before joining Unilever Research Port Sunlight in 1992.
At Port Sunlight, he was responsible for developing the next generation of processing equipment for the global Personal Care business.
From a base in the UK, Mr. Giesler and his teambuilt the network of global innovation centers for Personal Care, primarily in Asia and Latin America.
Mr. Giesler holds a Board Observer seat at Pionetics, Inc., and is actively engaged in the search for new investments in clean technology and consumer dialogue and automationoriented technologies.
Mr. Giesler holds a B.Sc.
in Industrial Chemistry from York University and an MBA from Bradford University.
