Paul Zwijnenburg

PAUL ZWIJNENBURG, Vice President, Investments, is involved in interviewing new managers and is part of the due diligence, portfolio creation and monitoring processes.
He brings a broad range of hedge fund buy-side experience: As CFO and Portfolio Analyst at DF Advisors – an equity/derivative relative value hedge fund – he was responsible for generating and monitoring investment strategies and positions.
At Southport Management, Mr. Zwijnenburg was the Portfolio Analyst for a convertible bond arbitrage hedge fund.
Before that, he was the Portfolio Manager of a fund of closed end bond funds at Newgate Management.
Most recently, Mr. Zwijnenburg worked as a consultant to HypovereinsBank, in structuring Grand Central Re, a tax efficient Bermuda-based insurance entity that became a conduit for the Banks $200MM proprietary hedge fund investment.
He was integrally involved in all direct hedge fund investments and the selection of outside Fund-of-Fund Advisors.
Mr. Zwijnenburg graduated from Clarkson University with a BS interdisciplinary degree in Engineering and Business Management.
