Mr. Omer Jawaid is Senior Investment Analyst at Global Investment House Asset Management.
He started his professional career as a credit analyst with an affiliate of Japanese Credit Rating Agency (JCR-VIS, Pakistan) and later moved on to Invisor Securities (Pakistan) as a sell side equity research analyst where he was responsible for the coverage of Banks, Power, and Autos sectors.
He joined Global in August 2008 and is the lead analyst for GCC Banking Sector with active involvement in investment decision making.
Mr. Jawaid is a CFA charterholder and a Certified FRM.
He also holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA, majors in Finance) and Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA Honors) from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA, Karachi) in 2005, one of the premier business schools in Pakistan..
