Niraj Kumar

Mr. Niraj Kumar is a Chief Investment Officer at Future Generali India Life Insurance Co. Ltd.
His current role include formulating the investment strategy and policy for effective and efficient investment in capital markets optimizing risk and return across asset classes.
He has more than 18 years of professional experience in diverse areas such as portfolio management across Equity & fixed income assets, Equity Analysis, Credit Risk and Macroeconomics.
Prior to Future Generali, he worked with Aviva Life Insurance for almost 8 years and was responsible for managing equity & hybrid funds.
Before joining the Insurance Industry, he has worked with a leading Mutual Fund for more than five years in different positions such as Sector Analyst and Fund Manager.
He has also worked with Ministry of Planning (Govt.
of India) in a brief stint.
He has done an Executive course in Finance from International Centre for Financial Asset Management and Engineering.
He is an economics graduate from University of Delhi and holds an MBA degree in Finance from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.
