Niall McCarthy

Niall McCarthy is a Director of Funds Management at Salter Brothers.
He is responsible for fund and product development, capital raising and institutional relationships, and investment identification and execution.
Niall has over 30 years’ experience in the areas of funds management, project and development management across Australia, Asia, the Middle East and the UK and has held senior roles in major Australian institutions.
Prior to Salter Brothers, Niall was one of the founders in 2004 of Eureka Funds Management, which then became the Australian Real Assets platform of AXA Investment Managers post its acquisition in 2016.
As Head of Business Development at AXA Investment Managers, Niall’s role was to drive business development in Australia.
He was a member of the Investment Committee and on the Board of the Australian AFSL company and holding company – Eureka Funds Management Limited & Eureka Funds Management Holdings.
Niall is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with a Masters Degree in Construction Economics/Quantity Surveying from Trinity College Dublin.
He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
