Nancy Nugent

Nancy Nugent has been a Trustee of the Long Island Power Authority since 1998.
She is was a Director of the Nassau County Women's Bar Association and was Chairman of the Association’s Judges and Lawyers Breast Cancer Alert.
Ms. Nugent is a Member of the Suffolk and Nassau County Bar Associations, New York State Bar Association, the Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce, Family Residences & Essential Enterprises, Inc., and National Foundation for Human Potential.
She was Nassau Deputy County Attorney in the Litigation, Torts and Civil Rights Bureau.
She was a Member of the NYS Office of Court Administration, Defense Counsel to the Nassau County Police Department, Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, and Nassau County Correctional Facility.
Ms. Nugent received a Bachelor's degree from Hunter College in Manhattan.
