Michelle Shkedi

Ms. Michelle Shkedi is a Portfolio Manager at Aperio Group LLC.
Her role involves working at the intersection of investment research, portfolio management policies, and technology.
As a member of the portfolio management research team, She is primarily responsible for developing the portfolio management processes for managing our 5,000-plus accounts, creating custom strategies for clients, and refining our off-the-shelf strategies.
Ms. Shkedi role also involves analyzing a significant amount of data, finding patterns, building prototypes of tools, and determining which courses of action we should undertake.
She lead the firm’s Standards Committee, which focuses on creating investment and client communication policies for the portfolio management team, and serve as Chair of the Customization Committee, which focuses on the implementation of nonstandard portfolio management requests.
Ms. Shkedi previously was a Junior Investment Analyst at Alternative Investment Group, a fund of hedge funds focused primarily on investing in emerging hedge fund managers.
Prior to role at Alternative Investment Group, She was an Econometric Analyst at Omnicom, where She focused primarily on building multivariate linear regression models for allocating media investments.
In college, Ms.Shkedi was a co-founder of a B2B startup that focused on improving the presentation experience for presenters and audience members.
She received BA in Economics from Wellesley College.
