Michael Spitaels

Mr. Spitaels is a Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions for State Street Bank and has been with State Street years.
Prior to this he worked in Corporate Finance for Drexel Burnham & Lambert.
Mr. Spitaels has over 20 years of investment banking experience and has completed over 40 transactions including M&A advisory assignments, both buy-side and sell-side mandates, joint ventures, private placements, and public offerings of both debt and equity, leveraged buyouts and valuations.
Mr. Spitaels has completed over 15 M&A transactions on behalf of State Street both domestically and globally.
Mr. Spitaels has been a member of State Street's CRA Committee since 1999 and has assisted the CRA Officer in evaluating numerous potential CRA investments.
In this capacity, he has completed 22 CRA qualified fund investments (including 16 SBIC's) on behalf of State Street and he is currently an appointed member of five Fund Advisory Committees.
Mr. Spitaels received his M.B.A.
from Babson Graduate School of Business in 1990 and received his Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University in 1985.
Mr. Spitaels is an advisor with Brook Venture Management.
