Michael DelGais serves as the Strategic Accounts Manager, and in this new position he oversees the Global OEM Business initiatives and the Purafil Conversion Plan for Wet Scrubbers.
His proven expertise will help to maximize the effectiveness of Purafil’s Global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Business Plan.
Purafil is committed to transforming OEM sales into a vital element of the company’s overall global business.
Therefore, Michael’s management style and knowledge of the industry made him an ideal candidate to redirect this plan while helping to build upon and surpass its previous sales totals.
Michael previously served as Purafil’s Product Manager over Emergency Gas Scrubbers (EGS), for control of toxic chlorine and sulfur dioxide releases at water treatment facilities, and gas-phase filters, for control of Airborne Molecular Contamination (AMC) in cleanrooms.
In 2004, he took on Purafil’s EGS product line and has steadily increased sales by over 40 percent.
His leadership abilities are apparent in the sales upswing just 12 months after his promotion.
In addition to the boost in EGS sales, he also devised a comprehensive conversion plan for wet scrubbers.
Michael’s additional responsibilities are also linked to his past successes with the company.
Purafil’s newly released, patent-pending Chlorosorb ® Ultra Media is among the products Michael helped to develop.
Chlorosorb ® Ultra has a 15% removal capacity.
Therefore, he was appointed to spearhead a program based on the Purafil Conversion Plan for Wet Scrubbers and Chlorosorb ® Ultra media.
“In addition to making scrubbers smaller and less costly, the new Chlorosorb ® Ultra can be used to convert most wet scrubbers that use hazardous, caustic materials into non-hazardous dry chemical scrubbers,” Michael proclaims.
