Maxine Griffin Somerville

Maxine Griffin Somerville has been Director of Administration and Human Resources for the United Nations Foundation since 2003.
She is a Member of the Charles County, Maryland Commission for Women, the Society for Human Resource Management and the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources.
Ms. Somerville is Director of Administration and Human Resources for Better World Fund, Inc. and the Old Dominion University Alumni Association (ODUAA).
Previously, she was Senior Director of Administration and Human Resources for the Center for Policy Alternatives (CPA).
Ms. Somerville served as Director of Administration and Human Resources for the National Office of The League of Women Voters and an Administrative Associate and a Budget Administrator of the Brookings Institution's Center for Public Policy Education.
She received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Old Dominion University and a Master's degree in Public Administration from George Washington University.
