Previously known as Morley Fund Management Ltd., the firm was founded in 1973, merged with Norwich Union Investment Management Ltd. in 2000 and underwent restructuring in 2008. Fortis Investment Management (France) SA (FIM-F) is the French branch of Fortis Investments, the asset management arm and a subsidiary of the banking and insurance Fortis Group (BR: FTS). Fortis Investments manages a broad range of investment products across all major asset classes and markets. Fortis Investments is organized as a worldwide network of competence centers, each specialized in an asset class or geographical region. Their flagship product is the Fortis L Fund, a Luxembourg-domiciled umbrella fund comprising a wide variety of sub-funds, for the most part sectorial. Established in 1986, FIM-F was formerly known as Fimagest and is located in Paris. The firm specializes in European equity and fixed-income, convertible bonds and structured finance. They manage mutual funds, credit derivatives, funds of hedge funds and leveraged funds. They also contribute to the management of asset allocation and balanced funds. FIM-F's clients are institutional investors, particularly pension plans and corporate savings plans, as well as wholesalers and private individuals.

UBP-Gestion Institutionnelle SA (UBP-GI) is the Geneva-based asset management arm of the Swiss bank Union Bancaire Privée (UBP). Through a series of acquisitions initiated by Chairman Edgar de Picciotto, UBP can trace their history back to 1956. The present-day UBP was established in 1990 following the merger with Compagnie de Banque et d'Investissements and TDB-American Express Bank. UBP-GI was created in 1997 and caters to both private and institutional clients worldwide. They offer a range of investment funds, including traditional, multi-manager and structured products.

Fortis Investment Management (UK) Ltd. (FIM-UK) became Fischer Francis Trees & Watts (UK) Ltd. in October 2010, and refocused on fixed income investments. In the course of the integration of Fortis into BNP Paribas, the equity investments previously managed by FIM-UK were taken over by BNP Paribas Investment Partners (UK) Ltd., the dedicated asset management business of BNP Paribas SA (XP: BNP) in France. Established in 2003, FIM-UK is located in London. Their clients include institutions, high-net worth individuals and retail investors. In 2008 the firm absorbed ABN AMRO Asset Management Ltd., following the merger of the asset management activities of Fortis and ABN AMRO worldwide. In 2010 Fortis Investments merged with the existing BNP Paribas Investment Partners Group creating a global investment solutions provider which combines the best that large companies have to offer with the reactivity, specialization and entrepreneurial spirit of investment boutiques.
