Lizzie Ball

Currently, Lizzie Ball occupies the position of Independent Director and Investment Committee at Shard Credit Partners Ltd.
Lizzie is responsible for fund operations, deal structuring and legal execution.
She is a qualified lawyer with over 20 years of experience.
Prior to joining GCP, Lizzie was the Chairman of Shard Credit Partners and she was a member of the investment committees for Shard’s private- and venture debt funds.
She also led the firm’s ESG strategy.
Previously, Lizzie was Managing Director and Associate GC at Barings responsible for legal oversight, deal execution and fund structuring for the special situations team.
She took a leading role representing Barings on 50+ restructuring committees across various European jurisdictions.
Lizzie started her career at Hogan Lovells specialising in restructuring and leveraged finance.
Lizzie graduated from Manchester University with a law degree and went to Nottingham Law School.
