Lal Gotabhaya Chandrasena

Lal Gotabhaya Chandrasena is currently the Executive Director & General Manager at Nawaloka Hospitals Plc and the Executive Director at Nawaloka METROPOLIS Laboratories Pvt Ltd.
He is also a Director at Ruhunu Hospital Pvt Ltd., Nawaloka College of Higher Studies, Nawaloka Medicare Pvt Ltd., Nawaloka Green Cross Laboratories Pvt Ltd., Nawaloka Guardian International Pvt Ltd., Nawaloka Hospitals International Pvt Ltd., International Medical Institute Pvt Ltd., Nawaloka Hospitals Research & Education Foundation, and the National Stroke Association of Sri Lanka.
Additionally, he is a Member of the Institute of Certified Professional Managers, a Council Member of The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka, and a Member of the Private Health Services Regulatory Council.
Dr. Chandrasena is also a Professor-Emeritus at the University of Kelaniya and the President of The Association for Clinical Biochemistry & Laboratory.
He previously served as the President of the Association of Private Hospitals & Nursing Homes.
Dr. Chandrasena obtained his undergraduate and doctorate degrees from The University of Liverpool.
