Ms. Kristelle Audet is a Principal Economist at AERIC, Inc. She is part of the Industrial Economic Trends group.
She oversees the production of economic forecasts and analysis for Canadian industries and performs custom research for public and private sector clients.
She also wrote extensively on Canadian trade issues, covering a wide range of topics such as foreign direct investment, value-added trade, Canada's global competitiveness, and trade in food and financial services.
In 2017, Ms. Audet was the lead author of the Conference Board's landmark report outlining key recommendations ahead of the NAFTA renegotiation.
Prior to joining the Conference Board, she was a Market Analyst at the Pulp and Paper Products Council where she was responsible for covering the European market.
She also taught Economics at HEC Montréal and worked as a research associate for the University's Centre for Productivity and Prosperity.
Ms. Audet holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with Economics from HEC Montréal as well as a Master's degree in Economics and International Financial Economics from the University of Warwick in the UK.
