Kevin Adams

Kevin Adams is a Managing Director of Portfolio Operations at Gemspring Capital.
Kevin has over 20 years of experience working with C-suite leadership to drive growth and improve profitability.
He specializes in commercial excellence, operational leadership, strategic planning, M&A and post-merger integration, and talent management.
Prior to joining Gemspring, Kevin was at Platinum Equity where he had direct P&L and value creation responsibilities for several portfolio companies and served in various interim leadership roles, including Chief Transformation Officer and President.
He also served as the Commercial Excellence lead across Platinum Equity where he was responsible for driving pricing, sales force effectiveness, channel optimization, and digital enablement programs across the fund.
Prior to Platinum Equity, Kevin was a Partner in Boston Consulting Group’s large-scale transformation practice.
He has also served as Vice President of Transformation at two private equity-backed companies and began his career in engineering and sales at GE Power Systems.
Kevin serves on the boards of Fenceworks, Midland, and Bradford.
Kevin received a BS in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Stanford University.
