Jon R. Aerni

Mr. Jon R.
Aerni is an Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society.
Mr. Aerni assumed the WoodmenLife Chief Financial Officer post at the start of 2020.
He had served as Vice President & Chief Actuary since 2017, where he oversaw the organization's actuarial activities including product development, valuation, and illustrations.
He started with WoodmenLife in 2006 as an Associate Actuary.
In 2010, he was named Director, Financial Analysis, a role he held until being named Chief Actuary.
Before joining WoodmenLife, Mr. Aerni worked for CIGNA Retirement and Prudential Financial.
He received his undergraduate degree from The University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
He attained fellowship in the Society of Actuaries in 2002 and also is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
