Prior to joining Gridiron Capital, John was a managing director at CCMP Capital and its predecessor firms, JPMorgan Partners and Chase Capital Partners where he was responsible for investing on behalf of global funds with more than $10 billion under management.
He has previously served as a board director for numerous companies in the consumer/retail, industrial, and energy sectors.
John started his career as a private equity investment professional at FS Private Investments and Riverside Partners and as a strategy consultant at Monitor Company.
John received a B.A.
in Economics from Brigham Young University.
He holds an M.B.A.
from Harvard Business School.
Originally from Utah, John and his family reside in New Canaan, CT.
