Gebhard is Director of Research and Development for Inflabloc Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He joined Inflabloc in September 1996.
He was a Postdoctoral Fellow for The Scripps Research Institute in the Department of Neuropharmacology where his research focused in RNA based antivirals and virus-host interactions.
He received an MA in tumor immunology from CSU Fullerton and a PhD in cellular, viral and molecular biology from the University of Utah.
