James I. Mackay

Mackay has over 30 years of experience and has a strong background in the financial services industry including management positions in investment banking, securities brokerage and investment management.
His role and responsibilities as president and CEO will be to provide strategic direction for the Vintage Funds.
Prior to joining Investors Management Group, Mackay was senior vice president of strategic development for H&R Block Financial Advisors where he was responsible for marketing, product development, call center service delivery, practice development, tax channel distribution, insurance marketing and training.
He also had additional responsibilities for fixed income trading and investment research.
In addition to his tenure at H&R Block, Mackay founded a successful venture capital management business and thriving consulting practice specializing in process design, communications, financing strategies and marketing.
He also founded a regional securities firm where he served as chief executive officer for 10 years until it was merged with another firm.
