Jahangir Khan Tareen

Jahangir Khan Tareen is the founder of Tareen Education Foundation (founded in 2010) and JDW Sugar Mills Ltd.
(founded in 1990).
At JDW Sugar Mills Ltd., he holds the title of Executive Director starting in 2020.
Mr. Tareen is also the founder of People'S Primary Healthcare Initiative Kp.
Currently, he is a Director at Faruki Pulp Mills Ltd.
In the past, he served as Chairman at Riaz Bottlers Pvt Ltd., Chairman-Policy & Planning at Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf, Chairman of the Agriculture Task Force, and Director at Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund.
He also served as Minister-Industries & Special Initiatives in the Government of Pakistan.
From 2002 to 2011, he was a Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan.
Additionally, he was a Member-Governing Council at Punjab Vocational Training Council.
Mr. Tareen completed his MBA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1974 and holds an undergraduate degree from Forman Christian College.
