Howard Kaufman

Prior to joining Seaport Capital in December 1999, Mr. Kaufman was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lynch & Mayer, Inc., a registered investment advisor that had more than $6.5 billion in assets under management.
As Senior VP and CFO, he oversaw the firm's financial, compliance, legal, and administrative affairs.
He also served as President and financial and operations principal of Lynch & Mayer Securities Corp., the broker subsidiary for Lynch & Mayer.
Before working for Lynch & Mayer, he served as Financial Vice President of the Carteret Financial Group and several predecessor companies, participating in the structuring of the firm's leveraged equipment leasing arrangements.
Mr. Kaufman went to Carteret Financial Group from Price Waterhouse, where he was employed as an auditor.
Mr. Kaufman is a member of the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants and the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Kaufman is a certified public accountant, holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Scranton.
