Evelyn Vega

Evelyn Vega Sella has been Senior Vice-President for Corporate Communications and Public Relations of Santander Bancorp since April 2001.
Previously she was communications consultant, she handled major Puerto Rico corporate clients.
She held the position of Vice President and Director of Public Relations and the Communications Division of Banco Popular between 1996 and 1999.
She was responsible for organizing and administrating Publics, the public relations arm of Foote, Cone and Belding from 1991 to 1996.
After serving as Vice President and Director of Communications at Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico between 1986 and 1989, she handled press and public relations for a year with Telefónica Larga Distancia during the equal access process.
Ms. Vega holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas and has completed all credit hours for a master’s in Communications at the University of Puerto Rico.
