Eugene R. Yost

Mr. Yost was selected as a Partner of CEO Venture Fund III because of his special expertise and reputation for marketing high-technology products and his singular success as a businessman/entrepreneur.
Since 1985 he has been a General Partner of the CEO Venture Fund.
Mr. Yost has served as a director of CEO Venture Fund portfolio companies in the following industries: information services and environmental instrumentation.
From 1976 until 1991, Mr. Yost was President and Co-founder of Black Box Corporation (NASDAQ:BlackBx).
During this period of time, the corporation's sales grew to over $120 million with over 500 employees, and sales in over 40 foreign countries as well as the United States.
Black Box Corporation manufactures and distributes data communication devices primarily through catalog sales.
Mr. Yost's shareholders in Black Box realized a compounded annual return on the sale of the company to Micom Systems in excess of 150%.
Mr. Yost graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania, in 1950 with a bachelor of arts degree.
