Dr. Enrico Rettore is a Consultant at Banca d'Italia.
He is a Professor of Econometrics at the Department of Sociology and Social Research, University of Trento, and affiliated to FBK-IRVAPP (Trento).
His research interests cover a variety of fields of econometrics, ranging from methodological aspects to more applied work in labour economics and programme evaluation.
He has extensively worked in the evaluation of welfare and labour market programmes in Italy.
He has been the principal investigator of projects funded by the Italian Ministry of Education and Ministry of Economy and Finance, among others.
He also joined IZA as a Research Fellow in February 2013 and visited IZA for an extended period in 2014.
He received his Master’s Degree in Statistical and Economic Sciences from University of Padova – Facoltà di Scienze Statistiche in 1984, and Ph.D.
