Elana Lian

Elana Lian is an Investment Director located in the Bay Area.
She joined Intel Capital in 2014.
Elana believes there is tremendous opportunity to disrupt legacy industries by unlocking the insights in their data and creating new consumer experiences.
In her role, Elana invests in Deep Tech, Edge Intelligence, Enterprise/SaaS, and AI Applications companies.
Elana led and was involved in investments in Fictiv, Pixeom (acquired by Siemens), Rubikloud (acquired by Kinaxis), Teikametrics, Venafi (acquired by Thoma Bravo), and other stealth mode companies.
Elana currently serves as board director or observer at Fictiv, Hypersonix, Mirantis, and Teikametrics.
Previously she served as Director/Observer at Bossa Nova, Pixeom, and Venafi.
Prior to Intel Capital, Elana began her career working in Engineering, Product Development and Business Development roles across the high-tech industry.
She is a Kauffman Fellow and received her MBA from Kellogg School of Management, and holds BS & MS degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Toronto and Tufts University, respectively.
In her spare time, she loves traveling, skiing, scuba diving, and spending time with her son.
