Edmundo Javier Garza

Mr. Edmundo J.
Garza is a Chief Executive Officer & President at Consultiva Wealth Management Corp.
He joined CONSULTIVA in 2000.
He began his professional career in 1990 as a financial advisor and planner, and later, he directed the Office of Actuarial Studies and Investments of the Employees of the Government of Puerto Rico and the Judicial Retirement Systems.
For three years, as an assistant administrator, he oversaw and reorganized the System's $ 900 million investment program and worked closely with the System's consultants and investment managers.
As a financial advisor, he has served insurance companies, credit unions, universities, and individuals.
In 1998, he was appointed Investment Manager of the Trust Division of Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, where he supervised investment procedures and supervised the purchase and sale of securities for more than 400 clients.
He was also responsible for the development of financial consulting services for the Bank's institutional clients, as well as the service of client retirement plans, personal trusts, custodian and custodial accounts.
Mr. Garza graduated with honors from the University of Puerto Rico, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Finance.
He is registered with FINRA as General Securities Representative (Series 7), as Principal of Financial Operations (Series 28), as Municipal Principal (Series 53), Futures Commodities (Series 3), General Securities Principal (Series 24) and is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative (Series 65).
