Duk-Hwan Oh

Mr. Duk-Hwan Oh currently serves as the Managing General Partner of IDG Ventures Korea.
Prior to joining IDG Ventures, he was the Managing Director in North Asia for IDC which is a U.S.
market research and consulting company specializing in Information Technology and Communication Technology area.
His responsible for the overall direction and day-to-day running of IDC's North Asia including Korea, Taiwan, and China operations.
During his time at IDC North Asia, the company has been positioned as top leader in the region and he has the excellent track record in terms of performance.
Before taking up his role with IDC North Asia, Mr. Duk-Hwan Oh held the position of Managing Director of IDC Korea, where he was responsible for Korea operations as well as business development for Worldwide Korean accounts based in Mountain View, California, USA. He initially joined IDC West as a Director of Business Development in 1996 and began overseeing the Korea operations in 1997.
Before joining IDC, Mr. Duk-Hwan Oh served as a Regional Director at Dataquest/Gartner Group in Asia/Pacific for two years and was responsible for market research and analyzing the Computer Systems and Peripherals.
Prior to DQ/Gartner Group, he was a General Manager at ResearchAsia which was first IT market research company in Korea for six years.
Before joining ResearchAsia, Mr. Duk-Hwan Oh worked at Samsung Electronics as a Manager of Information Systems Division for five years.
Mr. Duk-Hwan Oh has over twenty five years of IT industry experience.
He holds BS in Electronics Engineering from Soongshil University and MBA from Sogang University in Seoul, Korea
