David Tan

Mr. David Tan is a Portfolio Manager at JPMorgan Asset Management (UK) Ltd.
He is also a Managing Director and the Head of the Global Rates team in the Global Fixed Income, Currency & Commodities (GFICC) group.
In this role, he also serves as the lead portfolio manager in the International Fixed Income Group, managing government bond portfolios for institutional clients, in particular Central Banks and Sovereign Wealth Funds, as well as range of Government Bond Funds.
An employee since 1997, he previously worked in the Singapore office.
He has over 33 years industry experience and 33 years of experience with the firm.
Mr. Tan worked for six years at the UK Treasury as an economic adviser in the Debt and Reserves Management Division.
Before this, he worked in the fixed income markets with Morgan Guaranty Trust in Singapore.
He obtained an M.A.
in Economics from the University of Cambridge and an M.Sc.
in Economics from the London School of Economics.
